Frequently Asked Questions

My Y-cam doesn't have Hive on it?

Hive is available through firmware update - so you'll need to have Y-cams latest firmware installed on your camera. This is available from main Y-cam website. You will need to download the firmware and then install it. Y-cam Hive will then be available from your Y-cam Settings menu.

Can I buy a Y-cam with Hive on it?

Yes, all new Y-cams will be shipped with Y-cam Hive on it by default from the start of June.

I don't own a Y-cam, how can I get Hive?

Hive is available now for download to all existing Y-cam cameras as a firmware update. Some of our specialist resellers are also shipping brand new units with Hive installed.

Who do I contact for Support?

Y-cam can offer support through the Y-cam Help Centre for issues relating to getting Hive enabled and working. For problems with connecting to the service you choose, you will need to contact the service provider, normally their website.
